Vazquez Besada Consulting was founded by Carlos Vázquez Besada (CEng MICE) in July 2019. Before establishing the practice, Carlos worked with several consultancies in Scotland, contributing to large-scale construction projects across the UK.

Santiago Cuevas Gutiérrez joined Vazquez Besada Consulting bringing valuable expertise from both the private and public sectors. His career includes work on major infrastructure projects, such as flood mitigation, bridge rehabilitation and large-scale transport structures.

We are a dynamic and client-focused civil engineering practice based in Scotland, serving clients across the UK. Our expertise spans a broad range of services, with a particular focus on pre-planning and planning support, including Drainage and Flood Risk Assessments, Earthworks Schemes, Cut-and-Fill Analysis, Roads/Highway Design, SuDS solutions, and more.
